B.A.R.E. is a nonprofit walking with individuals and families out of homelessness and into lasting stability, through housing, nutrition, case management, and mentorship.
B.A.R.E. provides mentorship, independent-living assistance, and wellness services to individuals and families facing poverty, helping them build healthy, purpose-driven lives and changing the economic and living conditions of entire communities in the process.
Steadying every part of a person's life, housing, health, and stability, at once.
Believing every person we serve has a future worth building toward.
Treating people as capable neighbors, never as cases to be managed.
Walking alongside people long after the front door first opens.
As a service provider for the City of Los Angeles' Inside Safe initiative, we deliver permanent housing assistance, 24/7 on-site support, three meals a day, intensive case management, and life-skills development.
Over the past five years we've moved more than 200 individuals from homelessness into safe, stable housing, paired with case management, education, employment, and post-program support.
Since 2019 we've partnered with middle schools and college-prep programs, helping students explore careers, set goals, and build the foundation for what's next.
